Staying With Us

We have nine beautifully appointed bedrooms both in the original building and in the connected converted barn. Most have views over the stunning Cumbrian countryside, and all take their name from a Border Reivers clan infamous for raiding and marauding their neighbours.

Kitchen Garden

We produce the majority of our fruit, vegetables and herbs less than five miles away in our Victorian walled kitchen garden at Netherby Hall. The gardens were established by the Graham family who lived at the Hall for four centuries and brought back to its former glory in order to supply the inn by current owners Margo and Gerald Smith, alongside head gardener Mark Jeffery.
