This is an exciting opportunity to join the Pentonbridge Inn Team

Pentonbridge Inn is a five-star, award-winning restaurant with nine beautifully appointed bedrooms. The menu is designed to highlight the best of the Cumbrian larder and our own produce grown in the Walled Garden at Netherby Hall.

The food is reflective of our Head Chef, Chris Archer’s unique style of modern British cuisine, and love of seasonal local ingredients.

We are looking for candidates with a passion for food and drink, and experience working in fine dining establishments would be a bonus.




Kitchen Porter

We are looking for a kitchen porter to join our team at Pentonbridge Inn, a 3AA Rosette restaurant - one of the best in the country.

Netherby Hall

Sales & Events Assistant

Netherby Hall is a Grade II* listed mansion house with 9 luxury apartments and the sister site at Pentonbridge Inn in is an award-winning AA 5* Restaurant with Rooms that recently won three AA rosettes.

The role will be to attract visitors from around the world to this historic borderland focusing on sales and the Netherby experience.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent sales techniques, communication skills incorporating event planning and hosting. The candidate will also require a good understanding of the market, hospitality, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, conferences & Exhibitions) knowledge of OTA’s and how to optimise our sites.

We are looking for someone who is confident, friendly, comfortable interacting with guests, and has excellent customer skills.

As a brand ambassador, you are the main point of contact for our customers, so you need a can-do attitude that puts our guests at the heart of everything you do.

Experience as sales and events assistant is desirable however, it is more important that we find the right person and if you have a winning smile, we can train you to accomplish anything.

Job Type: 30 hours per week.
